Coach Sébastien Migné made a few welcome substitutions in the 46th minute : Duckens Nazon replaced Dany Jean, Leverton Pierre replaced Christopher Attys, and Ruben Providence replaced Fabrice Picault.

After the break, Aruba had the opportunity to take a penalty in the 53rd minute, but Roviën Ostiana's attempt was saved by captain and goalkeeper Johny Placide.
